Ingredients
- 2 inches fresh ginger root, peeled and sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 cups water
- 1 tsp raw honey (optional)
- A pinch of black pepper (optional, enhances absorption)
Instructions
- Boil the water in a saucepan.
- Add sliced ginger and lemon to the boiling water.
- Let it simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain into a mug.
- Add honey and a pinch of black pepper if using. Stir well.
- Drink warm every morning on an empty stomach for best results.
