INGREDIENTS
- 1 medium red onion, peeled and chopped
- 2-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
- 1–2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional, for flavor and vitamin C boost)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, for taste and immune support)
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions
- Add chopped onion and sliced ginger to a blender.
- Pour in the warm water and blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a glass.
- Stir in lemon juice and honey, if using.
- Drink 1 small glass (about 1/4 cup) in the morning on an empty stomach.
