Ingredients
- 1 large piece of fresh ginger (about 2 inches), peeled and sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon raw honey (optional, for taste)

Instructions
- Boil the Water: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add Ginger & Lemon: Add the sliced ginger and lemon to the boiling water. Let it simmer on low heat for about 10–15 minutes.
- Optional Add-ins: If using, add a pinch of turmeric during the last few minutes of simmering.
- Strain & Sweeten: Strain the mixture into a mug. Add honey if desired for sweetness and extra soothing effect.
