DESCRIPTION

INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a large bowl, add warm water, sugar, and yeast. Mix and let it rest for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and cooking oil to the bowl. Mix well using a spoon or spatula.
- Stir until a sticky dough forms. Do not knead.
- Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 45–60 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Grease a baking pan lightly with oil.
- Pour the dough into the pan and spread evenly.
- Let it rest for another 15 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven and let it cool before slicing.
TIPS
- Use lukewarm water, not hot, to avoid killing the yeast.
- You can add seeds (sesame, sunflower, flax) for extra flavor.
- Brush the top with oil after baking for a soft crust.
- Store in an airtight container to keep it fresh longer.
- For softer bread, cover with a cloth while cooling.
