Ingredients
- 70 eggs (or as many as needed)
- Cold water (enough to cover the eggs in the pot)
- A generous amount of salt
Instructions
- Place the eggs in a large pot and cover them completely with cold water.
- Pour a generous amount of salt into the water (this helps make peeling easier).
- Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat. Cook until the eggs reach your preferred doneness.
- Drain the hot water and run the eggs under cold water for about 1 minute, just until they’re cool enough to handle.
- Crack each egg under water on the side of the pan or bowl.
- Let the cracked eggs soak in the water for a few minutes to loosen the shells.
- Peel the eggs – the shells should come off easily.
Would you like me to also add timing suggestions (exact minutes for soft, medium, or hard-boiled) for the eggs?
