Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- A few drops of essential oil (like lavender or tea tree oil for added benefits)
Instructions
- In a small clean bowl, combine the baking soda and honey.
- Add the extra virgin coconut oil and mix well until you get a smooth paste.
- Add a few drops of your chosen essential oil and stir to combine.
- Wash your face with warm water to open up your pores.
- Gently apply the mixture to your face, focusing on areas with spots, wrinkles, or dark circles. Avoid the eye area if you have sensitive skin.
- Massage in gentle circular motions for about 1–2 minutes.
- Leave the mask on for 5–10 minutes.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a soft towel.
- Apply your favorite moisturizer afterward to keep your skin hydrated.
Tip: Use this treatment 1–2 times a week. Always do a patch test first to ensure your skin doesn’t react to the baking soda.
