Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon water or rose water (for sensitive skin)
- Optional: 1–2 drops of vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel (for extra nourishment)
Instructions
- Cleanse your face gently with warm water to open up your pores.
- In a small bowl, mix the baking soda with water (or rose water) until you form a smooth paste. If desired, add vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel for added soothing and hydration.
- Apply the paste to the areas of concern (spots, fine lines, or under-eye area). Be careful not to get too close to the eyes if you’re using it for dark circles.
- Leave the paste on for 5–10 minutes. Do not exceed this time to avoid irritation.
- Rinse off with lukewarm water using gentle, circular motions.
- Pat your skin dry and apply a light moisturizer or facial oil to prevent dryness.
Tips:
- Use this treatment only 2–3 times a week to avoid over-exfoliating your skin.
- Baking soda can be drying or irritating for some skin types. If you notice any redness or burning, stop use immediately.
- Always apply sunscreen during the day, especially when using exfoliating treatments like baking soda.
