INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 slices deli ham (thinly sliced)
- 8 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese (or use shredded)
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional, for tang)
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (optional topping)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
- Layer one slice of ham and one slice of cheese on each triangle. You can fold or cut them to fit within the dough.
- Roll up each crescent, starting from the wide end and rolling to the tip. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Dijon mustard.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture. Sprinkle with poppy seeds if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce like honey mustard or ranch if desired.
