Hot Ham and Cheese Crescent Roll Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 rolls)
  • 8 slices of deli ham
  • 8 slices of cheddar or Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up each crescent roll, starting from the wide end, and place them seam side down on the baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and poppy seeds if using.
  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
