Creamy, cheesy, and packed with sweet crab meat, this hot crab dip is the perfect appetizer for any gathering. Serve it with crusty bread, crackers, or vegetables for dipping.

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound lump crab meat, drained and picked over for shells
  • Optional: a sprinkle of paprika or extra Old Bay for garnish
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Crackers, baguette slices, or vegetables for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, green onions, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and garlic powder. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add Crab Meat: Gently fold in the crab meat, being careful not to break up the lumps too much.
  4. Transfer to Baking Dish: Transfer the crab mixture to a shallow baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  5. Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the top is lightly golden.
  6. Garnish (Optional): If desired, sprinkle with paprika or extra Old Bay seasoning and chopped parsley before serving.
  7. Serve: Serve hot with crackers, baguette slices, or your favorite vegetables for dipping.
