Ingredients
- 500g boneless chicken breasts, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions
- Oil for frying
For Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped chicken, eggs, flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, soy sauce, and green onions. Mix until everything is well coated and the batter sticks to the chicken.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Scoop a spoonful of the chicken mixture and gently drop it into the hot oil. Fry for 3–4 minutes per side or until the fritters are golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- In a separate pan, prepare the honey garlic sauce by adding honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and vinegar. Cook over low heat until the mixture starts to bubble. Add the cornstarch slurry if you prefer a thicker glaze. Toss the fried chicken fritters in the sauce until evenly coated. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes
Use fresh chicken for the best flavor and texture. If the batter feels too thick, add a tablespoon of water to adjust the consistency. Make sure the oil is not too hot to avoid burning the fritters before the inside is cooked.
