INGREDIENTS
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced (plus extra slices for garnish)
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 pack of Maria cookies (or graham crackers)
- Juice of 1 lime (optional, for brightness)
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Make the Mango Cream:
In a blender, combine diced mangoes, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and cream cheese. Add lime juice if using. Blend until smooth and creamy. - Layer the Dessert:
In a rectangular dish or loaf pan, spread a thin layer of mango cream at the bottom. Add a layer of Maria cookies. Pour more mango cream over the cookies to cover. Repeat layers until you run out of ingredients, finishing with mango cream on top. - Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best texture. - Garnish and Serve:
Garnish with mango slices or whipped cream before serving.
