Homemade Mango Carlota

🥭 INGREDENT

  • 2 ripe mangoes (peeled, chopped, and pureed)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 pack (200 ml) heavy cream (or whipping cream)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 pack of Maria cookies (or digestive biscuits)
  • Optional: extra mango slices or whipped cream for garnish

📝 Instructions

  1. Prepare the mango mixture:
In a blender, combine mango puree, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, heavy cream, and lime juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Layer the Carlota:
In a rectangular or round dish, spread a thin layer of the mango cream mixture.
Place a layer of Maria cookies on top (you may need to break some to fit).
Add another layer of mango cream mixture, then repeat the process until you run out of mixture—ending with a creamy top layer.
  3. Chill it well:
Cover the dish with plastic wrap or foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) so the cookies soften and the Carlota sets properly.
  4. Garnish & serve:
Decorate with extra mango slices, whipped cream, or lime zest before serving cold.
