- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1.5 quarts (6 cups) of your favorite ice cream (softened)
- 1 jar (12 oz) hot fudge sauce (warmed slightly)
- 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- Optional: Sprinkles, chocolate chips, or crushed nuts for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the crust: Mix the crushed cookies with melted butter and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or baking dish. Freeze for 10 minutes.
- Layer the ice cream: Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the crust. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
- Add fudge layer: Pour and spread the warm hot fudge sauce over the ice cream. Return to the freezer for another 30 minutes.
- Top with whipped cream: Spread an even layer of whipped topping over the cake.
- Decorate: Sprinkle with your choice of toppings like sprinkles, crushed cookies, or nuts.
- Freeze again: Place the cake back in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Serve: Remove from the freezer, let sit for 5 minutes to soften slightly, slice, and enjoy!
