- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra flavor
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter and olive oil.
- Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Optional: Add a splash of lemon juice or red pepper flakes for a twist.
- Remove from heat and serve warm over pasta, chicken, veggies, or as a dipping sauce.
