  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra flavor

  3. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Optional: Add a splash of lemon juice or red pepper flakes for a twist.
  8. Remove from heat and serve warm over pasta, chicken, veggies, or as a dipping sauce.
