Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup chocolate chunks (or chips)
- ½ cup chopped nuts (like pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
- ½ cup crushed cookies (like Oreos or graham crackers)
- Optional: ½ cup fruit pieces (strawberries, cherries, bananas), chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form using an electric mixer (about 3–4 minutes).
- In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until smooth and fully combined. Do not overmix.
- Add in your “chunky” mix-ins—chocolate chunks, nuts, cookies, and/or fruit. Fold gently to evenly distribute.
- Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container (like a loaf pan). Smooth the top and cover with plastic wrap or a lid.
- Freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight until firm.
- Scoop and enjoy your homemade chunky ice cream straight from the freezer!
