Homemade cheesy garlic breadsticks

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, then top with grated parmesan.
  6. Use a pizza cutter to lightly score the dough into breadstick strips (this makes it easier to pull apart after baking).
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, then cut fully along the scored lines.
  9. Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch for dipping!
