Heavenly Pineapple Cheeseball

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup chopped pecans (or your preferred nuts)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crushed pineapple, green bell pepper, onion, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into a ball (you can use plastic wrap to help shape it neatly).
  3. Spread the chopped pecans on a flat plate or shallow dish. Roll the cheeseball in the pecans until evenly coated.
  4. Wrap the cheeseball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.
