Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of dried bay leaves (Tez Pata)
- 1 cup coconut oil (or any carrier oil like olive or almond oil)
- 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds (optional, for added benefits)
- A few drops of essential oil (lavender or rosemary, optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat the coconut oil over low heat.
- Add the dried bay leaves to the oil and let them simmer for about 10 minutes. If using fenugreek seeds, add them as well.
- Stir occasionally, allowing the bay leaves to infuse into the oil.
- Once done, remove the pan from heat and let the oil cool.
- Strain the oil into a clean jar or bottle, discarding the bay leaves (and seeds, if used).
- If desired, add a few drops of essential oil for fragrance and additional hair benefits.
- Massage the infused oil into your scalp, focusing on areas where hair thinning or hair loss is occurring.
- Leave the oil on for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better absorption.
- Wash your hair as usual with a mild shampoo.
Tip:
For best results, use this remedy 2-3 times a week and be consistent. Bay leaves are known for their stimulating properties, which may encourage faster hair growth and reduce hair fall.
