Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups cooked rice or pasta (for serving)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until softened.
- Add the garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Brown the beef until no longer pink.
- Drain excess fat if necessary, then add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and oregano.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes (with juice) and beef broth. Stir well.
- Add the frozen mixed vegetables and simmer for 10–15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot over cooked rice or pasta. Enjoy!
