Grilled Chicken Wings Recipe

A classic summer recipe, these grilled chicken wings are crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Perfect for game day, a backyard barbecue, or a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Wings:
    • In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Grill the Wings:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • Place the chicken wings on the grill and cook for 10-12 minutes per side, or until cooked through and crispy.
    • Flip the wings halfway through cooking.
  3. Serve:
    • Remove the wings from the grill and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as barbecue sauce, blue cheese dressing, or hot sauce.

Tips:

  • Soak the Wings: Soaking the wings in buttermilk for a few hours before grilling can help to tenderize them.
  • Add a Sweet Touch: For a sweeter flavor, add a tablespoon of brown sugar to the dry rub.
  • Experiment with Flavors: Try different flavor combinations, such as lemon-pepper or honey-garlic.
  • Rest the Wings: Let the wings rest for a few minutes after grilling to allow the juices to redistribute.

Enjoy your delicious, homemade grilled chicken wings!
