Ingredients
- 2 lbs (about 1 kg) chicken wings, tips removed and wings separated
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (for tang)
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375–400°F / 190–200°C).
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix until evenly coated.
- Let the wings marinate for at least 20–30 minutes (you can also refrigerate them for a few hours or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Arrange the wings on the grill in a single layer. Grill for about 20–25 minutes, turning every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking and crispiness. The skin should be golden-brown and slightly charred in spots.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from grill, let rest a few minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or side!
