Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (white, sourdough, or your choice)
- 2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, mozzarella, etc.)
- 1–2 tablespoons of butter (softened)
Instructions
- Butter the Bread:
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. - Assemble the Sandwich:
Place one slice of bread (butter side down) in a skillet. Add the cheese on top. Cover with the second slice of bread (butter side up). - Grill the Sandwich:
Heat the skillet over medium heat. Cook for 2–4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Flip and cook the other side for another 2–4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is crisp. - Serve:
Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and enjoy warm!
