Ingredients

  • 1 medium piece of fresh ginger (about 2 inches), peeled and grated
  • 1 small onion, finely grated or juiced
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated or minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2–3 tablespoons raw honey (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Peel the ginger and grate it finely using a microplane or fine grater.
  2. Peel and grate the onion. If you prefer, you can blend and strain it to get the juice only.
  3. Peel and finely grate or mince the garlic cloves.
  4. In a small clean bowl, combine the grated ginger, onion, and garlic.
  5. Add the fresh lemon juice and stir to combine.
  6. Add the raw honey and mix well until you have a smooth paste.
  7. Transfer to a clean, airtight glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  8. Take 1 teaspoon daily, preferably on an empty stomach in the morning.

Tip: Stir the mixture before each use. If it’s too strong for your taste, you can mix it with warm water or tea.
