Google ChatGPT rival launches in the search

Google was working hard to catch up in the AI race right after Microsoft added ChatGPT to its Bing search engine. The company is finally putting out its own AI tool for its search engine, called Search Generative Experience (SGE).

Google’s blog post says that people can try out ideas with the SGE and give the company comments.

Its creative AI will “take some of the work out of searching, so you can understand a topic faster, find new perspectives and insights, and get things done more easily.”

This month, the feature was announced at Google’s I/O event, but users can now try out the product.

With the new search, there is a new area at the top of the search results that pulls information from different places and puts it all in one box, so you don’t have to click on links to different websites.
