Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the filling:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
