Giant Burger-Pizza: Flavor Fusion at Its Finest!

Ingredients

For the Burger Base:

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

For the Toppings:

  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup cooked bacon bits
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup sliced pickles (optional, for burger vibes)
  • 1 medium tomato, thinly sliced
  • Shredded lettuce (for topping after baking)
  • Burger-style buns (or use large round flatbread or pizza dough for the base if preferred)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the meat “crust”:
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Press the seasoned beef into a large, flat circle on the prepared baking sheet, about ½ inch thick and the size of a pizza.
  3. Bake the beef crust:
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–18 minutes or until fully cooked. Remove excess grease if needed.
  4. Add pizza toppings:
Spread pizza sauce over the cooked beef crust.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly on top.
Add bacon bits, red onion, tomato slices, and pickles (if using).
  5. Bake again:
Return to the oven and bake for another 8–10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Finish it off:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Top with shredded lettuce and serve like pizza slices!
