Government College University (GCU) in Lahore is getting ready to build a Miyawaki Garden on its main site to make it more attractive to people who care about the environment.

In a recent post on social media, GCU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asghar Zaidi thanked Mehmet Celepoglu, the CEO of a well-known oil marketing business, for letting an 8 Kanal Miyawaki forest be built.

The unique Miyawaki method will be used to grow 11,000 plants in this yard, which is about 43,560 square feet in size.
