INGREDENT
- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
- Foil sheets (heavy duty or doubled if thin)
Instructions
- Preheat Grill or Oven
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or oven to 425°F (220°C). - Prepare Foil Packets
Tear 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil. Spray each with nonstick cooking spray or brush lightly with oil. - Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine steak cubes, potatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Toss well to coat everything evenly. - Assemble Packets
Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly between the foil sheets. Fold the foil into packets by bringing the sides up and sealing tightly to trap steam. - Cook
- Grill: Place packets on the grill and cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Oven: Bake packets on a baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender and steak is cooked to your liking.
- Serve
Carefully open the packets (watch for hot steam), garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
