Garlic Steak & Potato Foil Packets

INGREDENT

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Foil sheets (heavy duty or doubled if thin)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Grill or Oven
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Prepare Foil Packets
Tear 4 large sheets of heavy-duty foil. Spray each with nonstick cooking spray or brush lightly with oil.
  3. Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine steak cubes, potatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Toss well to coat everything evenly.
  4. Assemble Packets
Divide the steak and potato mixture evenly between the foil sheets. Fold the foil into packets by bringing the sides up and sealing tightly to trap steam.
  5. Cook
    • Grill: Place packets on the grill and cook for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
    • Oven: Bake packets on a baking sheet for 20–25 minutes until potatoes are fork-tender and steak is cooked to your liking.
  6. Serve
Carefully open the packets (watch for hot steam), garnish with parsley if desired, and serve immediately.
