Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 pound baby potatoes, quartered
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine steak cubes and potatoes. Drizzle with olive oil and melted butter, then add minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper. Toss well to coat evenly.
- Assemble Packets: Cut 4 large pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil. Evenly divide the steak and potato mixture among the foil sheets. Fold up the sides and seal to create packets.
- Cook:
- Grill: Place packets on the preheated grill and cook for about 15–20 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the steak is cooked to your liking and potatoes are tender.
- Oven: Bake foil packets on a baking sheet for about 20–25 minutes, until done.
- Finish & Serve: Carefully open the packets (watch for steam!), garnish with fresh parsley and optional Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!
