- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian-style work best)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter (optional, for extra crispiness)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. - Prepare Coating Mixture:
In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. - Prepare Egg Wash:
In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. - Coat the Chicken:
Dip each chicken breast into the egg mixture, then press into the Parmesan-breadcrumb mix until well coated on all sides. - Arrange on Baking Sheet:
Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter for a crispier finish (optional). - Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C). - Serve:
Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with a side of roasted vegetables, pasta, or salad.
