Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, ensuring it’s fully coated, then dredge it in the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks well.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the browned chicken breasts to the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with your favorite sides. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful garlic Parmesan crusted chicken!
