Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian-style)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the chicken: Brush each chicken breast with olive oil or melted butter. Press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture to coat both sides evenly.
- Bake: Place the coated chicken breasts on the baking sheet. Drizzle with any remaining butter or olive oil.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F or 74°C).
- Optional: Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for an extra crispy top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
