Garlic Parmesan Crusted Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or Italian-style)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken: Brush each chicken breast with olive oil or melted butter. Press the chicken into the breadcrumb mixture to coat both sides evenly.
  4. Bake: Place the coated chicken breasts on the baking sheet. Drizzle with any remaining butter or olive oil.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F or 74°C).
  6. Optional: Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for an extra crispy top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
