Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
For the Dough:
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits) or pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
For Garlic Parmesan Butter:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook the Beef Filling
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is browned and onion is soft.
- Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Drain excess fat and let it cool slightly.
- Stir in shredded cheese until melted.
- Prepare the Dough Bombs
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Flatten each biscuit or portion of pizza dough into a small circle.
- Place 1–2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center, then pinch the edges together to seal into a ball.
- Bake the Bombs
- Place sealed side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan.
- Coat and Serve
- Brush hot cheeseburger bombs generously with garlic Parmesan butter right after baking.
