Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until well mixed.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours (the longer, the better).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
