Garlic Italian Grilled Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir until well mixed.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over the chicken. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 2 hours (the longer, the better).
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve.
