Garlic Herb Flatbread Recipe

This simple and delicious flatbread is perfect for a quick and easy appetizer, side dish, or even a light meal. The combination of garlic and herbs creates a flavorful and aromatic crust.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil  
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced  
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as rosemary, thyme, oregano)  
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Make the Dough: In a separate bowl, whisk together the olive oil and warm water. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the Dough: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Prepare the Topping: In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped herbs, and Parmesan cheese (if using).
