Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
- 1.5 lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional, for garnish)
For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak:
- Season steak cubes with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil until hot.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches to avoid overcrowding). Sear for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked to your liking.
- During the last minute of cooking, add 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Toss to coat. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
- Make the Parmesan Cream Sauce:
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add 1 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until thickened to your desired consistency.
- Combine & Serve:
- Return steak bites to the pan and spoon sauce over them. Heat through for 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or rosemary if desired.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, pasta, or crusty bread.
