INGREDIENTS
- 2 Eggs
- ½ cup Sugar
- ½ cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1½ cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- Pinch of Salt
- Oil for Frying
- Powdered Sugar (for garnish – optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a bowl, crack the eggs and beat well.
- Add sugar and whisk until creamy.
- Pour in milk and vanilla essence. Mix well.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to form a smooth batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
- Scoop small portions of batter using a spoon.
- Carefully drop into hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown from all sides.
- Remove and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
TIPS
- Do not overheat oil to avoid burning.
- Fry on medium heat for soft inside texture.
- You can add chocolate chips or cream filling for extra flavor.
- Serve with honey, chocolate syrup, or jam.
