INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Eggs
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1½ cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Oil for Frying
  • Powdered Sugar (for garnish – optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a bowl, crack the eggs and beat well.
  2. Add sugar and whisk until creamy.
  3. Pour in milk and vanilla essence. Mix well.
  4. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix to form a smooth batter.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
  6. Scoop small portions of batter using a spoon.
  7. Carefully drop into hot oil.
  8. Fry until golden brown from all sides.
  9. Remove and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
  10. Sprinkle powdered sugar if desired. Serve warm.
