Fresh Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup seedless grapes, halved
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 orange, peeled and segmented
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all the prepared fruits.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey (or maple syrup) and lemon (or lime) juice.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the fruit and gently toss to combine.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves before serving.
