Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in caramelized onions (if using) and shredded cheese.
- Transfer mixture into the loaf pan, shaping it evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard. Spread evenly on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake uncovered for 55–65 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
