Fluffy Homemade Bread in a Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup warm water

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and egg. Blend for a few seconds until combined.
  2. Add warm water and instant yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  3. Gradually add flour and salt, blending in short pulses until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased loaf pan.
  6. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
