- 2–3 lb (900g–1.4kg) beef roast (such as chuck or rump)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2–3 garlic cloves, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rub the beef roast all over with olive oil, salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 1–1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, or adjust for your preferred doneness.
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve hot.
