Fire Chicken Wings” recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, separated into drumettes and flats
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot or your favorite brand)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken Wings:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and place a wire rack on top.
    • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then season them with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Bake the Wings:
    • Arrange the wings on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    • While the wings are baking, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring until the sauce is well blended and slightly thickened.
  4. Coat the Wings:
    • Once the wings are fully cooked, transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  5. Serve:
    • Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley for a pop of color. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks on the side.

Enjoy your fiery, flavorful wings!
