Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon baking soda (food-grade)
- 1 tablespoon water (preferably filtered or distilled)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the baking soda with the water until it forms a smooth paste.
- Gently cleanse your face with warm water and pat dry.
- Using clean fingers or a soft brush, apply the baking soda paste evenly to areas with wrinkles or sagging skin — avoid the delicate eye area.
- Leave the mixture on for 3–5 minutes (do not exceed 5 minutes to avoid skin irritation).
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
- Apply a gentle moisturizer or natural oil (like coconut oil or aloe vera gel) to hydrate your skin.
Tip:
Use this treatment no more than once a week, as baking soda is very alkaline and can disrupt your skin’s natural barrier if overused. Always do a patch test first to ensure you don’t have a sensitivity.
