Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup warm water (as needed)
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt well.
- Gradually add warm water and knead into a soft dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls.
- Roll each ball into a thin round shape.
- Heat oil in a deep pan on medium heat.
- Carefully place one dough round into hot oil.
- Fry until it puffs up and turns golden on both sides.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Repeat with remaining dough.
