Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ½ cup water (filtered)
- 1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (pure, preferably organic)
- ½ teaspoon honey (optional, for added moisture)
- A few drops of rose water or essential oil (optional, for fragrance)
Instructions
- Soak the Chia Seeds:
In a small bowl, combine the chia seeds and water. Let them soak for about 15–20 minutes until they form a gel-like texture. - Prepare the Mask Base:
Once the chia seeds have formed a gel, add in the aloe vera gel and honey (if using). Mix well to create a smooth, spreadable paste. - Optional Step:
Add a few drops of rose water or your favorite essential oil (like lavender or frankincense) for a soothing scent and extra skin benefits. - Application:
Gently cleanse your face before applying the mask. Spread the chia seed mixture evenly over your face, avoiding the eye area. - Relax & Let It Work:
Leave the mask on for 15–20 minutes. You may feel a tightening effect as it dries — that’s normal. - Rinse Off:
Wash the mask off with lukewarm water and pat your face dry with a soft towel. - Moisturize:
Finish with your favorite moisturizer or a few drops of facial oil to lock in hydration.
Tips:
- Use 2–3 times a week for best results.
- Store leftover mask in the fridge for up to 3 days.
