Ingredients
- 175 ml boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 350 g all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
- Slowly pour in the boiling water while mixing with a spoon or spatula until a rough dough forms.
- Knead:
- Once cool enough to handle, knead the dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Rest:
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let it rest for 20–30 minutes. This makes it easier to roll out.
- Shape & Roll:
- Divide the dough into equal portions (about 8–10 balls).
- Roll each piece into a thin circle or rectangle, depending on your preferred shape.
- Cook (Optional Variations):
- Pan-fry: Heat a lightly oiled skillet and cook each roll for 1–2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake rolls on a lined tray for 15–20 minutes.
- Steam or fill with stuffing: Optionally, fill with your favorite savory or sweet filling before rolling and steam or fry.
