- 3 tablespoons powdered erythritol (or your favorite keto-friendly sweetener)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (optional for richness and thickness)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and powdered erythritol.
- Place over medium heat and stir until the sweetener is fully dissolved.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer gently, stirring occasionally, for 30–40 minutes or until the mixture reduces by about half and thickens to a condensed milk consistency.
- If using, stir in the unsalted butter during the last 5 minutes of simmering to enhance creaminess and flavor.
- Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Transfer to a clean jar and refrigerate. Use within 1 week.
