INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (with juice)
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- Optional toppings:
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (for serving)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
- Pour the entire can of crushed pineapple (with juice) into the dish and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple. Don’t mix—just spread.
- Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
- If using, sprinkle coconut and/or chopped nuts on top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
