Easy Pineapple Dump Cake

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (with juice)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional toppings:
    • ½ cup shredded coconut
    • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
    • Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (for serving)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. Pour the entire can of crushed pineapple (with juice) into the dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple. Don’t mix—just spread.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  6. If using, sprinkle coconut and/or chopped nuts on top.
  7. Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream!
