Easy Naan Bread Recipe

Ingredient

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)
  • ½ cup warm milk (or water, as needed)
  • Optional: garlic, butter, cilantro for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add yogurt and olive oil, then slowly pour in warm milk to form a soft dough.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5–7 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Divide into 6–8 equal balls.
  5. Roll each ball into an oval or round shape (not too thin).
  6. Heat a skillet or pan over medium-high heat. Cook naan for 1–2 minutes on one side until bubbles form, then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
  7. Brush with melted butter or garlic butter and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.

Do you want me to also give you a no-yeast version (super quick, no resting needed) or keep it like this?
