Easy Coconut and Condensed Milk Dessert, in 15 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups desiccated coconut (plus extra for rolling)
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • A pinch of salt (optional, to balance sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Mix: In a large bowl, combine the desiccated coconut and sweetened condensed milk. Add vanilla extract and salt if using. Stir until fully combined into a sticky dough.
  2. Shape: Scoop out small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls using your hands. If the mixture is too sticky, lightly oil your palms or chill the mix for a few minutes.
  3. Coat: Roll each ball in extra desiccated coconut to coat them evenly.
  4. Chill: Place the coconut balls on a tray lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for about 10–15 minutes to firm up.
  5. Serve: Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week!
