Easy 3-Ingredient Fudge Recipe

This recipe creates a simple and decadent fudge with just three ingredients. It’s perfect for a quick treat, a last-minute gift, or a sweet addition to any gathering. The rich, creamy texture and intense flavor of this fudge will satisfy any sweet craving.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk  
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk chocolate, dark chocolate, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, but recommended)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang on two sides for easy removal.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, melt the chocolate chips, stirring frequently until smooth.
  3. Add Condensed Milk: Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined and smooth.
  4. Add Vanilla Extract (Optional): Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour into Pan: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.  
  7. Cut and Serve: Use the parchment paper or foil overhang to lift the fudge out of the pan. Cut into squares and serve.

  • Chocolate Choice: You can use any type of chocolate chips you prefer, such as milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, or a combination.
  • Flavor Variations: Get creative with flavor additions! You can add nuts, dried fruit, extracts (peppermint, almond, etc.), or spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.) to the fudge mixture.  
  • Microwave Method: If using the microwave, be careful not to overheat the chocolate, as it can burn.
