- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk (warm)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for a firmer texture)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat a non-stick skillet or pan over low-medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and frothy.
- Add Milk: Gradually add the warm milk while whisking continuously.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, sift together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.
- Combine All: Slowly whisk the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.
- Cook the Cake: Pour the batter into the pan, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 10 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve: Let it cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Slice and enjoy warm or chilled!
